Toy balls sold under the "Safety Toys" brand name have been recalled because they contain 9.83% DEHP phthalate by weight, which far exceeds the legal limit of 0.1% by weight. DEHP is a chemical added to PVC to soften it, and it can enter the body through skin contact or ingestion, posing a health risk. The product does not comply with the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC. Each package contains six whistling balls marked as intended for children ages 0-3 and manufactured in China.

In one package there are six pieces of toys. On the paper label there is marking "Safety toys, made in China, for children age 0-3, Shuhuawanjuchang“. On the product there is also the sticker saying that the toy is designated for dog (in this way the product has been declared in acquiring documents), then there was distributor and origin on the sticker.
