What happened

A Carrefour pushchair with model reference 1302N (bar code 2 862868 500027) is being recalled due to two safety hazards. The product has gaps in the access zone that are wider than 5 mm but narrower than 12 mm, which can trap children's fingers. Additionally, the pushchair does not remain stable when positioned perpendicular to a slope during testing. The pushchair has a metallic frame with a red canvas seat and back and does not meet the safety requirements of the European standard EN 1888.

The pushchair has a label made of card with a safety button, on which is written the bar code (2 862868 500027), reference number (1302N), a warning (it may be dangerous to leave a child unattended), distribution details and the wording ‘Made in China’ and ‘Fasten the belt for your child’s safety’.
