Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Ronson refillable lighters in model Slyda (RXL 12090A) are being recalled due to serious burn hazards. The lighters, which come in semi-transparent plastic in blue, violet, rose, green, or yellow, produce excessively high flames exceeding 100 mm and lack resistance to spitting and flaring. During safety testing, one lighter exploded with burning gas spilling out, while another had a blocked mechanism that prevented proper flame extinction. The products fail to meet the EN ISO 9994 safety standard required for lighters.

Authorities have ordered these lighters withdrawn from the market. The affected product can be identified by the "RONSON" logo on the outer side and an EAN code of either 5011435620485 (on individual lighters) or 5011435620492 (on collective packaging). The record does not specify what action affected consumers should take regarding lighters they may already own.

Hazard

The product poses a risk of burns because of:- excessively high flame: over 100 mm, - no resistance to spitting and flaring,- during tests one of the lighters exploded and burning gas spilled out, and in another the mechanism was blocked – so in two cases the flame extinction was inappropriate. The product does not comply with requirements of essential safety standard EN ISO 9994.
