Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Volvo is recalling certain 2009 passenger cars equipped with diesel 2.0D engines, including the S40, V50, C30, C70, S80, and V70 models. The vehicles have a vacuum pump that may not provide adequate brake servo assistance during cold start conditions, which could reduce braking performance and potentially cause accidents.
Volvo has taken voluntary corrective actions to address this issue. An affected consumer should contact Volvo or check the list of affected vehicle identification numbers (VINs) to determine if their vehicle is included in this recall.
