Two toy police sets have been recalled due to choking hazards. The first set, marked S.W.A.T., contains a plastic crossbow with multicolored projectiles featuring suction cups that can easily detach. The second set includes a plastic pistol. Both products fail to meet the Toys Directive and European standard EN 71 requirements because the suction cups can separate and, if lodged completely in a child's mouth, may block the airways and cause choking.
The S.W.A.T. set (Item No. 121-089, EAN 6568521210895) comes in a transparent plastic bag with a dark cardboard fastener and is marked for ages 3 and up with "Made in China" labeling.
