This recall concerns a Gembird electric power supply unit (model CCC-PSU4) used in personal computers. The power supply unit has insufficient electrical insulation in its transformer between the primary and secondary windings, which creates a risk of electric shock. When the secondary circuit is touched—such as when connecting peripheral devices like printers, monitors, or multimedia speakers, or when handling these devices themselves—mains voltage may be present due to a single fault condition. The product does not meet safety standards required by the Low Voltage Directive and European Standard EN 60950.
The recall was ordered by authorities in Finland and applies to consumers who have purchased this power supply unit. The source document does not specify what remedy consumers should pursue.

There is a risk of electric shock due to the fact that there is not sufficient electrical insulation in the mains transformer between the primary and the secondary windings. Secondary circuit of a computer is touched when, e.g., connecting peripheral devices such as a printer, a monitor and multimedia speakers and also when touching these peripheral devices. While the electrical insulation in the mains transformer of the power supply unit between the primary and the secondary windings is insufficient, the mains voltage may exist in the secondary circuit in case of a single fault condition. This causes a risk of electric shock. This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the European Standard EN 60950.
