Is my product affected?

Slalom Glider

  • Brand Landscape Structures Inc., of Delano, Minn.

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Landscape Structures has recalled the Slalom Glider, a 6-foot high playground slide made of molded plastic with an arched tubular steel access ladder. The slide is curved in shape and comes either as a stand-alone unit or attached to other playground equipment. The recalled products have model numbers 156456 and 172627 and were sold in various color combinations including red, blue, tan, green, granite, and white. The slides pose a fall hazard because they lack a transition platform on top and sides on the chute, which can cause children to fall when moving from the ladder to the slide or while descending.

Owners of recalled Slalom Gliders will be contacted by Landscape Structures with removal instructions. Landscape Structures will offer customers the option to replace the Slalom Glider with another piece of playground equipment, receive a refund, or receive credit toward a future purchase.
