What happened

Bumbleride is recalling certain Indie and Indie Twin strollers because the front wheel can break at the axle hub, which may cause the stroller to tip and create a fall hazard. The recalled Indie strollers include model numbers I-107, I-110, and I-205 manufactured between January 2009 and August 2011. The recalled Indie Twin strollers include model numbers IT-108, IT-111, and IT-305 manufactured during the same period. You can find the date of manufacture on a white rectangular sticker located on the side of the seat frame for Indie models or on the underside of the handle for Indie Twin models.

If you own one of these recalled strollers, you should immediately stop using it and contact Bumbleride to receive a free front wheel retrofit kit.

The recalled Bumbleride Indie strollers are model numbers I-107, I-110 and I-205 with a DOM (Date of Manufacture) from January 2009 through August 2011 sold in multiple colors. The DOM (Date of Manufacture) can be found on a white rectangular sticker affixed to the side of the seat frame. The recalled Bumbleride Indie Twin strollers are model numbers IT-108, IT-111, and IT-305 with a DOM (Date of Manufacture) from January 2009 through August 2011 sold in multiple colors. The DOM (Date of Manufacture) can be found on a white rectangular sticker affixed to the underside of the handle.
