The Container Store is recalling brightly-colored six-outlet power strips with model number 8001-6 due to a fire hazard. The recalled power strips have undersized wiring and plastic components that fail to meet fire resistance requirements. The recall affects three designs: Pop Power Strip in Scroll (black with white scroll), Dot (blue with orange, white and lime green dots), and Zebra (black and white stripes). All three models have three-foot power cords and are marked "Lush Life® power strips by design" on the packaging.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power strips and return them to any Container Store location for a full refund plus a $15 merchandise card.
