Arctic Cat is recalling 2012 model year F, XF, and M series snowmobiles because the lower steering tie-rod attachment can loosen, which may cause loss of steering control and create a crash hazard. Consumers who own affected snowmobiles should immediately stop using them and contact their local Arctic Cat snowmobile dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair. Arctic Cat has notified owners directly by mail.
