Tech Lighting is recalling Coda pendant light fixtures in clear or smoke glass because the glass fixture can detach from its electrical cord and fall, creating a risk of injury from impact. The recalled fixtures come in two sizes—large (40" high, 7 lbs.) and small (21" high, 4 lbs.)—and have specific model numbers printed on the packaging. The recall also includes certain custom spare part LED modules.
Consumers with recalled fixtures should immediately prevent people from standing beneath the light and contact Tech Lighting to obtain a free repair kit. A certified electrician must install the repair kit, and Tech Lighting will reimburse consumers for the installation charges upon receipt of the electrician's invoice.

The glass Coda pendant light fixtures can detach from their electrical cord, causing the fixture to fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury from impact.
Consumers should immediately prevent people from going under the recalled light fixtures and contact Tech Lighting to receive a free repair kit. Consumers will need to schedule installation of the repair kit by a certified electrician, and Tech Lighting will reimburse the consumer for the service.
