What happened

Richie House has recalled "A Memory In" branded pink children's robes sold exclusively at Walmart.com because the garments fail to meet federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, creating a burn hazard. The recalled robes are made of 100% polyester, feature long sleeves, two front pockets, and a matching belt, and were sold in children's sizes 5 through 14. The specific robes in this recall have fabric product unit number FPU NO. AM003 and garment production unit number GPU NO. AM003-1 printed on the side seam label.

According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately remove the robes from children and contact Richie House for a refund. To receive the refund, consumers must destroy the garments by cutting them in half and submit photos of the destroyed robe and its side seam label to Richie House. Once the company receives the photos, it will issue a full refund. Walmart and Richie House are contacting all known purchasers directly.
