Anecdote has recalled four double-wick Autumn Glass Candles sold exclusively at Anthropologie due to a fire and laceration hazard. The affected candles—available in "Fireside Chats" (blue), "Weekend Getaway" (green), "Fall Feels" (orange), and "Sweater Weather" (pink)—can produce flames that are higher than normal, causing the glass container to break apart. The candles are made with glass tumblers, wood lids, cotton core wicks, phthalate-free fragrance oil, and a coconut-soy wax blend. The Anecdote name and scent are printed on labels affixed to the side of each container, and SKU numbers are located on the price label on the bottom.
According to the recall notice, affected consumers should immediately stop using the candle and return it to an Anthropologie store. If in-store return is not possible, consumers should visit www.anthropologie.com/recall for instructions on cutting the candle wicks and disposing of the product.
