Backyard Play Systems is recalling outdoor playsets sold under the brand names Yardline Play Systems and Gorilla Playsets. The recalled models are Yardline Play Systems' Turbo Racer and Cloud Racer, and Gorilla Playsets' Captain's Fort and Fort Highlander. These playsets have wooden roofs with decorative gable designs, and the wooden reinforcement parts create a gap between the lower roof structure and the gable decoration that poses an entrapment hazard to children.
Consumers who own a recalled playset should immediately stop using it. Affected consumers should contact Backyard Play Systems to receive a free repair kit containing replacement wood parts, hardware, and instructions. Alternatively, Backyard Play Systems will send a representative to perform the repair at no charge. The company is contacting all known purchasers directly.

The wooden parts used to reinforce and create a decorative gable design on the wooden roof pose an entrapment hazard to children. Children can become trapped in the gap between the lower part of the roof structure and the bottom of the gable decoration.
