Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Luyuan is recalling youth all-terrain vehicles sold between August 2018 and August 2020 that do not meet federal safety standards for children's ATVs. The recalled models—LY-ATV-40A, LY-ATV-40D, LY-ATV-40E, and LY-ATV-40I—fail to comply with mandatory safety requirements including maximum speed limitations and were marketed for children as young as 12 months old, though intended for ages 6 and up. These safety violations pose a risk of serious injury or death to children.

According to the recall notice, consumers who own one of these ATVs should immediately stop using it and contact Luyuan for a free repair at an authorized repair shop. The recalled ATVs can be identified by the model number on the hang tag or sticker on the plastic body, and may display labels referencing Luyuan Inc. or indicating the product was imported by Luyuan. Some ATVs were also sold under GBMOTO or GoBowen branding in various colors.
