What happened

TJX is recalling infant sleep bags in size 0-6 months sold under ten brand names including Dylan & Abby, First Wish, Harry & Me, Little Red Caboose, Piper & Posie, Sam & Jo, Shabby Chic, and Willow Blossom at T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and Sierra stores. The sleep bags have a neck opening that is too large, which can allow an infant's head to slip inside and become covered by the bag, creating a suffocation hazard. The recalled sleep bags zip up the middle or to the side and were sold in various colors and patterns including animals, dinosaurs, splatter paint, circus designs, construction vehicles, cars, florals, clouds, robots, stars, monsters, and firetrucks.

Consumers can identify the recalled sleep bags by checking the brand name and size printed on two separate labels at the back of the neck, and the style number printed on a label inside the side seam behind the care label. According to the recall, consumers should immediately stop using the sleep bags and contact TJX for recall instructions. Affected consumers can choose to receive either a full refund or a store gift card.
