TJX is recalling foldable weatherproof lounge chairs sold at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores because they can collapse unexpectedly, creating a fall and injury hazard. The recalled chairs have acacia wood frames and come in two styles: a natural oiled wood frame with red and white striped fabric (T.J. Maxx style 153228 or Marshalls style 009420) or a white gloss frame with blue and white striped fabric (T.J. Maxx style 153213 or Marshalls style 009432). The chairs measure approximately 30 inches high by 42 inches long when unfolded and are marked "MADE IN VIETNAM" on a label on the bottom of the frame.
Consumers who own these chairs should immediately stop using them and return them to any T.J. Maxx or Marshalls store for a full refund.
