Victory Innovations is recalling cordless electrostatic sprayers sold under both the Victory Innovations and Protexus brand names because the rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs can overheat and melt, creating a fire and explosion hazard. The recalled products are handheld and backpack sprayers used for disinfecting surfaces. Victory Innovations sprayers have a green and white exterior with the Victory Innovations logo and model VP-20A or VP-20B on the battery pack, while Protexus sprayers have a black and white exterior with the Protexus logo and model PX20A or PX20B on the battery pack. The recalled battery packs have visible screw heads and a case with no parting lines.
