Electric bicycles
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Pedego is recalling six models of its electric bikes because an improperly manufactured electrical cable can cause the bicycles to accelerate unexpectedly, which poses a fall hazard to riders. The affected models are the Interceptor (including Platinum Edition), City Commuter (including Mid Drive Edition and Black Edition), Boomerang Plus, Ridge Rider, Trail Tracker (including Gorilla Edition), and Stretch (including Dual Drive Edition). The model name appears on the chain guard or chain stay, and all recalled bikes have "Pedego" printed on the frame.
If you own one of the recalled models, you should immediately stop using the bicycle and contact a local Pedego dealer to arrange for a free repair.
