The recalled valves can be identified by a green coil component with ASCO parts numbers 400127-xxx and specific date codes: 1A3 through 5A2 (covering the 13th through 52nd weeks of 2018) or 0B1 through 0B8 (covering the 1st through 8th weeks of 2019).
If you have a recalled solenoid valve kit, you should immediately stop using it and disconnect power to your UV water treatment system. Visit VIQUA's website to help identify whether your valve's green coil component has a production date code matching the recall. If your valve is included in the recall, contact VIQUA to arrange free installation of a replacement coil.
