What happened

Levolor is recalling certain Two-Corded Custom Cellular window shades manufactured between December 15, 2018 and April 30, 2019 due to a strangulation hazard. The pull cords are joined by a cord connector that does not break away, posing a risk to small children. The recall affects specific styles including bottom-up single and double cell products of certain widths, top-down/bottom-up or day/night corded products up to 42 inches wide, and various custom cellular specialty shapes. The Levolor logo appears on a sticker on the bottom rail, and manufacturing dates are printed on a sticker on the head rail.

Affected consumers should immediately stop using the recalled shades and contact Levolor for a free repair kit. Levolor is contacting purchasers directly.

Manufacturing information, including the date of manufacture, is printed on a sticker on the head rail. Only units manufactured between 12/15/2018 and 04/30/2019 are included in the recall.
