Swaddle Bee has recalled its Loviebee security blankets for infants because the metal snaps that attach the blanket to strollers, cribs, car seats, or wrists can detach, creating a choking hazard for children. The recalled blankets were sold in blue/gray, blue/white, pink/gray, and pink/white combinations with optional personalized embroidery. They are approximately 16 inches by 16 inches, made with polyester minky fabric on one side and velour on the other, and feature a Swaddle Bee logo on a sewn-on tag at one corner.
Consumers who own these blankets should immediately stop using them and remove them from children's reach. Swaddle Bee is contacting all known purchasers directly and will provide a full refund to consumers who contact the company about the recalled blankets.
