Generation Brands is recalling small Stratton pendant light fixtures because the glass shades can detach from their electrical cords, causing the fixtures to fall and potentially injure someone below. The recalled fixtures are 9.2 inches wide with clear or smoke-colored glass shades and were sold for both residential and commercial use. Consumers can identify recalled fixtures by checking the item number on the packaging or the part number on a yellow sticker inside the canopy.
According to the recall, affected consumers should immediately prevent people from standing under the light fixture and contact Tech Lighting to receive a free repair kit. Tech Lighting will also reimburse consumers for the cost of having a certified electrician install the repair kit.
