Polaris is recalling model year 2015-2019 Ranger EV recreational off-highway vehicles in avalanche gray and pursuit camo that were produced between April 2014 and January 2019. The vehicles have an incorrectly wired chassis harness that can send an incorrect throttle control signal to the electric drive motor, causing the vehicle to accelerate unexpectedly and creating a crash hazard.
If you own an affected vehicle, you should immediately stop using it and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting all registered owners directly. You can verify if your vehicle is included in the recall by checking the VIN and model number on the label affixed to the vehicle frame in the left front wheel well against the list at www.polaris.com.
