Fibre-Metal E2 and North Peak A79 hard hats
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Honeywell is recalling certain hard hats because they can fail to protect users from impact, creating a risk of head injury. The recall involves Honeywell's type 1 Fibre-Metal E2 and North Peak A79 hard hats sold in various colors. The Fibre-Metal E2 hard hats were manufactured in April 2016, May 2016, December 2017, or January 2018. The North Peak A79 hard hats were manufactured between April 2016 and January 2018, but only those with mold identification number 4 are included in this recall.
Consumers can identify recalled hard hats by checking the underside of the hat's brim for the manufacturer name, mold identification number, and manufacture date. The date code uses a clock format where numbers around a circle represent the 12 months, an arrow points to the month of manufacture, and numbers on either side of the arrow show the last two digits of the year. Affected consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hard hats and contact Honeywell to receive a product credit or voucher equal to the purchase price of the hard hat.
