What happened

First Aid Research is recalling Maximum Strength Bacitraycin Plus Ointment with Lidocaine because the packaging fails to meet child-resistant closure requirements under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The product comes in a white, one-ounce tube approximately 5 inches long by 1 inch wide with "Bacitraycin Plus" printed in green on the front. The ointment contains lidocaine, a pain reliever that poses a poisoning risk to young children if they apply it to their skin or swallow it. The recall affects specific lot numbers printed on the end of tubes, including lot numbers 16001 through 16002, 404001 through 404002, 405001 through 405003, 406001 through 406004, 407001 through 407002, 415001 through 415010, 416001 through 416003, and 417001 through 417004.
