Husqvarna FS 450 closed course competition motorcycles
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Husqvarna is recalling model year 2016, 2017, and 2018 closed course/competition motorcycles with 450cc, 4-cycle engines. The front brake master cylinder piston can crack, which may cause brake failure and create a crash hazard for the rider. The recalled motorcycles are white, blue, and yellow with the Husqvarna logo on the shrouds covering the fuel tank and have "FS 450" printed on the side panel below the rear of the seat. You can identify the model year by checking the 10th position of the vehicle identification number (VIN) located on the right side of the steering head: the letter G indicates 2016, H indicates 2017, and J indicates 2018.
Consumers who own a recalled motorcycle should immediately stop riding it and contact an authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer to schedule a free repair. The repair involves installing a new machined aluminum front brake master cylinder piston. Husqvarna is contacting all purchasers directly.
