What happened

Hobby Lobby has recalled Easter and July 4th light-up spinner toys because the battery cover can detach and expose small coin cell batteries inside, creating choking and ingestion hazards for young children. The Easter-themed spinners come in blue with a pink bunny design or yellow with a yellow and orange chicken design on the dome. The July 4th spinners are red with white stars painted on the blue dome. All recalled spinners are powered by three LR44 coin cell batteries and have "Hobby Lobby" printed on the handle along with item number 9130033 or 9130082.

Consumers who have purchased these spinners should immediately remove them from children and return them to the nearest Hobby Lobby or Mardel store. Consumers with a receipt will receive a full refund, while those without a receipt will receive store credit.
