What happened

Dynacraft is recalling three models of 12-volt battery-operated ride-on toys because the acceleration pedal can stick, creating fall and crash hazards for children. The recalled products are the Surge 12V Camo 4X4, Surge 12V XL Quad, and Tonka 12V Mighty Dump Truck, with specific model numbers, date codes, batch numbers, and serial number ranges identified in the recall notice. Consumers can check the label on the bottom of their ride-on toy to determine if it is affected.

Consumers who own a recalled ride-on toy should immediately remove it from children's use and contact Dynacraft to receive a free replacement foot pedal with installation instructions. For consumers unable to install the pedal themselves, Dynacraft will perform the repair for free at an authorized service center.
