Gas station hose swivel connectors
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
OPW has recalled metal swivel connectors used at gas station pumps to dispense gasoline, diesel, ethanol blends, and biodiesel blends. The connectors can separate from the hose or nozzle, causing fuel to spill and creating fire and explosion hazards. The recall affects six models in both 3/4-inch and 1-inch sizes with manufacturing dates ranging from January 2013 through March 2017, identified by the model number printed on the center body and the manufacturing date printed on the end.
Gas station owners should immediately stop using and remove the recalled swivel connectors and contact OPW for free replacements. According to the record, the hose and nozzle can continue to be used without the swivel connector until the replacement is installed.
