Vecaro LifeStyle is recalling Glide65, Drift8, and Trek10 self-balancing scooters (hoverboards) because the lithium-ion battery packs can overheat and cause smoking, fire, or explosion. The recalled hoverboards have "Vecaro" printed on the front outer casing and are available in multiple colors including black, white, red, blue, metallic gold, metallic silver, graffiti white print, and red flame print. Model numbers for the Glide65 and Drift8 are located on the right side of the board, while the Trek10 model number is on top.
Consumers who own these recalled hoverboards should immediately stop using them and contact Vecaro to return their unit. Vecaro will provide either a free repair or a credit toward the purchase of a UL 2272 certified Vecaro Glide or Glide-X model.

The model number is on the right for both the Glide65 and Drift8. The Trek10 model number is on top of the board.
