Crossbows
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Barnett Outdoors is recalling six models of crossbows because the sensor that detects whether an arrow is properly loaded can malfunction and cause the crossbow to fire unexpectedly, creating a risk of injury to the user or bystander. The recalled models are the Barnett Ghost 415 Monochrome (model 78044), Barnett Ghost 415 Mossy Oak (78059), Browning OneSixTwo (80004), Browning OneSixOne (80005), Barnett Razr Ice (78212), and Barnett Razr (78210). These model numbers are printed on the limbs of the riser and on dome labels on the bows.
Consumers can identify their crossbows by the model names printed on the bows themselves. The Barnett Ghost 415 models have their names on each side and twice on the front, the Browning models have names on the front, the Barnett Razr Ice is blue with "RazrIce" printed on both sides and front, and the Barnett Razr is silver with "Razr" on the front. Affected Barnett triggers have silver safeties while affected Browning triggers have black safeties. According to the recall, consumers should immediately stop using the affected crossbows and contact the firm for a free replacement trigger with a nock sensor.
