Hammerhead Off-Road is recalling model year 2009 through 2015 GL 150, GTS 150, and GTS Platinum fun-karts because the fuel tank can crack and leak fuel, creating a fire hazard. The recalled fun-karts are two-seater vehicles with rear cargo racks that were sold in red, black, white, orange, blue, and green. The GTS models have "GTS" printed on the side cage and hood, while GL models have "Hammerhead" printed on the hood. Serial numbers can be found on the cross bar behind the seats.
Consumers who own one of these recalled fun-karts should immediately stop using it and contact Hammerhead Off-Road to schedule a free replacement of the fuel tank. The company is contacting all known purchasers directly.
