What happened

Trek is recalling model year 2014 Trek Farley bicycles and framesets and 2015 Trek Farley 6 bicycles and framesets because the fork can separate from the steer tube, which poses a fall hazard to riders. The 2014 Trek Farley features a black frame with green decals and an aluminum frame and fork, while the 2014 frameset is sky blue with orange decals. The 2015 Trek Farley 6 has a black frame with blue decals and an aluminum frame and fork. Both models were sold in sizes 14.5 through 21.5 inches and have "Trek" printed across the frame.

Consumers who own these bicycles should immediately stop using them and return the bicycles to a Trek retailer for a free inspection and repair.
