The front brake caliper on these bicycles can come into contact with a broken spoke, which poses a fall hazard to the rider. The Trek model 720 Disc features a lightweight aluminum frame and vibration-damping carbon fork, with "Trek" printed on the frame and the model number located on the down tube. The aftermarket wheels are marked "Bontrager TLR" on the rim and have 24 silver spokes.
