What happened

Dynafit Khion Ski Boots are being recalled because they pose a fall hazard. The boots can unexpectedly switch from "ski" to "walk" mode, their upper cuffs can separate, and in the Khion Carbon model specifically, the carbon boot shell can crack. The recall affects three models: the Khion Boot Men (dark gray with gray and black buckles, model number 08-0000061502), the Khion Boot Women (red with black and red buckles, model number 08-0000061503), and the Khion Carbon Boot (white with green, white, and black buckles, model number 08-0000061504). All recalled boots have "KHION" printed across the toe, and the model number appears on a UPC sticker inside the boot liner's tongue.

Consumers who own these boots should immediately stop using them and contact Dynafit for either a full refund or a free replacement boot.
