What happened

Mamas & Papas is recalling Armadillo Flip and Armadillo Flip XT strollers due to a defective latch that can cause the seat to tip backward unexpectedly when the stroller is in parent-facing position, creating a fall hazard for infants. The recalled strollers are folding single-occupant models available in colors including black, teal, and navy, weighing approximately 22 pounds. The Armadillo Flip strollers with lot numbers 00814 through 00416 (manufactured August 2014 through April 2016) and Flip XT strollers with lot numbers 01214 through 00416 (manufactured December 2014 through April 2016) are affected. The lot number can be found on the sewn-in label of the stroller.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact Mamas & Papas for a free repair.
