What happened

Yuka Clothing is recalling self-balancing scooters, or hoverboards, sold under the brand names Wheeli, 2 Wheelz, Back to the Future, Mobile Tech, Hover Shark, NWS, X Glider, and X Rider. The lithium-ion battery packs in these products can overheat, which may cause the hoverboards to smoke, catch fire, or explode. The hoverboards have two wheels at either end of a platform and were sold in various colors without brand labels, along with a key fob for turning the device on and off.

If you own one of these recalled hoverboards, you should immediately stop using it and contact Yuka Clothing to return the product for a full refund.

Hoverboards have two wheels at either end of a platform and are powered by lithium-ion battery packs. The hoverboards were sold in various colors and do not have any brand labels on them.
