Lawn Tractors
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
John Deere has recalled certain lawn tractors because hardware that holds the mower blade brake assemblies can break, allowing the mower blades to continue spinning longer than normal after the operator turns off the power. This creates a laceration hazard to users. The recall affects green lawn tractors with yellow seats in models D100, D110, D120, and D130, all equipped with 42-inch Edge™ Cutting System mower decks, with specific serial number ranges for each model.
Consumers who own affected lawn tractors should immediately stop using them and contact John Deere for a free hardware inspection and repair. The model number can be found on both sides of the tractor's hood, and the serial number is located under the right rear fender.
