What happened

Bell Sports is recalling Bell Exodus full-face helmets in youth size due to a defective plastic buckle on the chinstrap that can fail and cause the helmet to come off during a fall, creating a head injury hazard. The affected helmets come in orange, grey, black, blue, gold, and white color combinations, and consumers can identify them by checking the model and part numbers on a removable sticker on the side of the helmet.

According to the recall, consumers who own these helmets should stop using them immediately and contact Bell Sports for a replacement or refund.

Hazard
