What happened

Redken is recalling Guts 10 Volume Spray Mousse Foam in 10.58- and 2-ounce sizes due to a risk that the aerosol container's liner can corrode over time, potentially causing the can to rupture and expel its contents. The product comes in a silver container with black writing and "Redken" and "10" printed on the front. The recall affects cans with lot codes that do not contain a G or H as the third digit, as well as specific lot codes including 32G10Y, 32G11Y, 32G20Y, 32G21Y, 32G23Y, 32G40Y, 32G41Y, 32G60Y, 32G61Y, 32G62Y, and 32G70Y, which are printed on the bottom of the can.

Consumers who have purchased this product should immediately stop using it and record the lot code from the bottom of the can. They should then spray the contents into a waste container in a well-ventilated area and discard the empty container. After obtaining the lot code, consumers should contact Redken for information on how to receive a refund of the purchase price.
