Glass Whistle Kettle
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Epoca International is recalling Primula® Borosilicate two-quart glass whistling kettles because the bottom portion of the glass vessel can break when heated, causing the contents to spill and creating laceration and burn hazards. The recall affects two models: the PTKG-4420 with a green plastic handle and green whistling-stopper lid, and the PTKB-4420 with a black plastic handle and black whistling-stopper lid. Both models feature plain glass with no markings, a ½" metal band around the neck, and "Not for dishwasher" printed in raised letters under the lid.
Consumers who own either of these kettles should stop using the product immediately. According to the recall notice, affected customers should either return the product to the retailer where it was purchased or contact Epoca International for instructions on how to return the product for a full refund.
