Maruyama U.S. is recalling gasoline-powered backpack blowers and mister dusters with white, translucent fuel tanks because the gasoline tank can split and leak fuel, creating a fire hazard. The recalled products are identified by alphanumeric codes printed on the recoil starter (including models BL5100, BL8101, BL8200, MD155DX, and MD159D) and serial numbers located on stickers attached to the back pad and, for blowers, on the outlet of the fan case. Specific serial number ranges for each model are included in the recall notice.
