What happened

Fun World is recalling Little Pet Vet and Dr. Littles Halloween costumes sold for toddlers because the toy stethoscope accessory included with the costumes poses a choking hazard. The plastic ear pieces on the stethoscope can be pulled off. The recalled costumes come with a white lab coat, cap, scrub pants, scrub shirt, and stethoscope, with the cap and scrubs in pink, turquoise, or blue colors. A tracking label with the code 10060GFI01 and production dates from either January through March 2010 or April through June 2010 is sewn into the neck of the scrub shirt or lab coat.

According to the recall notice, consumers should immediately take the stethoscope away from children and contact Fun World for instructions on returning the stethoscope for a full refund.

The costumes include a white lab coat, a cap, scrub pants, a scrub shirt and a stethoscope. The cap and scrubs are pink, turquoise or blue. A tracking label bearing the code 10060GFI01 and a production date of either Jan-Mar 2010 or Apr-Jun 2010 is sewn into the neck of the scrub shirt or the lab coat.
