American Honda is recalling certain snowblower models due to a fire hazard. The fuel tank joint and O-ring on the underside of the fuel tank can seep or drip fuel over time. The recall affects Honda snowblowers in red and black, specifically model numbers HS724, HS928, and HS1132 with specific frame serial number ranges. The frame serial number can be found on the rear of the machine just below the engine.
Consumers who own a recalled snowblower should immediately stop using it and contact any Honda Power Equipment dealer to arrange for a free fuel tank joint and O-ring replacement. Registered owners will receive a mailed notice about the recall.
