The recall affects specific models in the MC Sports Series (models 88565G, 88565GT, 88567G, 88567GT), Triple Eight Series (models 88830, 88830G, 88830T, 88830GT, 88880G, 88880GT), and Arena View Series (model 886724FS), which were sold between January 2009 and July 2009.
According to the recall notice, affected consumers should stop using the basketball hoops immediately and contact Russell Brands for instructions on receiving free replacement bolts. If the product is installed in concrete, Russell Brands will arrange for free deinstallation, repair, and reinstallation at the consumer's home.
