Salsa Bicycles is recalling CroMoto S.U.L. handlebar stems that can crack or break, which poses a fall hazard to riders. The recall affects stems sold as standalone aftermarket parts and stems included on complete Salsa bicycles including the Ala Carte, El Mariachi, Casseroll Triple, Casseroll Single, and La Cruz models. The recalled stems are black with "Salsa" painted on the extension when sold aftermarket, or painted to match the bike color when included on complete bikes. The stems have rise angles ranging from 75 to 105 degrees and extension lengths from 90 to 120mm.
