Fisher Controls International is recalling model R622H LP-gas regulators manufactured between June 2006 and January 2008 that were installed on LP-gas supply systems in homes and small commercial buildings. The recalled regulators can develop a hazard where gas leaks when the diaphragm pulls inward into the casing, which poses a fire or explosion risk. The specific recalled models are R622H-BGJ, R622H-DGJ, R622H-HGJ, R622H-JGJ, R622H-BGK, R622H-DGK, R622H-HGK, and R622H-JGK, identified by their type number on a white label attached to the spring case chimney or on the box label. The regulator also has a manufacturing date stamp showing month and year; regulators marked with a "D" near the inlet fitting are not included in this recall.
If you had an LP-gas system installed with a recalled regulator, you should immediately contact your LP-gas service provider to determine if you are eligible to receive a replacement regulator that will be installed at no charge.

The recalled gas regulators were manufactured from June 2006 through January 2008 and installed on LP-gas supply systems in homes and small commercial buildings. The recall involves model R622H LP-gas regulators with type numbers in the table below: R622H-BGJ R622H-DGJ R622H-HGJ R622H-JGJ R622H-BGK R622H-DGK R622H-HGK R622H-JGK The type number is located on a white label attached to the spring case chimney (see photo). The box label also includes the type number. There are no serial numbers on these regulators. The regulators are date stamped with the month and year (12-07 indicating made in December 2007) of manufacture on the product.
