What happened

The interior alignment tabs of the chainguard can be pushed against the chain, causing it to derail and potentially injuring riders. The recalled bicycles have "Electra" and "Amsterdam" printed on the frame or chainguard, though those with frame numbers beginning with "EL" or chainguards marked "06/08" are excluded from the recall. The frame number can be found on the underside of the bottom bracket.
