MEGA Brands is recalling MagnaMan magnetic action figures sold in "Futuristic Warrior" and "Ancient Warrior" themes because small magnets inside the figures can detach. Young children who swallow or inhale these magnets face serious health risks, including intestinal blockages or perforations that can be fatal if multiple magnets are ingested, as the magnets can attract each other inside the body.
The recalled figures include models such as Alien (Green, #28170), Robotor (Red, #28171), and Toyoto the Samurai (Purple, #28164), among others, sold individually or in multi-packs with various model numbers listed in the recall notice. Consumers should stop using the toys immediately and return them to MEGA Brands for a free replacement toy.
